Anna Mae's" makeover has evoked so many childhood memories of simpler times spent in my younger days at my grandmother's house.  This small, antique dresser reminds me of a similar one in her guest bedroom I slept in as a young girl.  I added "Heartfelt Memories" (so appropriately named) decoupage tissue to the 3 lower drawers bringing back memories of the lace and floral fabrics through out her home.  
This 1920's era, small solid wood dresser has been painted and sealed in a gorgeous deep teal chalk paint and accented in metallic gold paint.  The 4 clean drawers operate well on wooden runners and the interiors have been re-nourished with a wood salve.I replaced the 4 original wood casters and it now rolls smoothly.  The original hardware was cleaned and painted to match the gorgeous French Gold metallic paint I used as my accent color. I completely sanded and re-stained the top with a gorgeous Walnut stain.  Several layers of poly were added for protection. 
 Such a nostalgic little dresser which will fit perfectly in a small space and hopefully bring back sweet memories for her new owner.
